Support Worker role at Care Concern Group
Care and Support - Cedar Lodge and The Limes Care Home, Taunton, Somerset.
Contract: Part Time
Salary: £12.21 Per Hour

Responsibilities
* Empower Independence: Assist residents with their daily routines, from getting dressed to staying active, while encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
* Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalised care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
* Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents’ health, report concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
* Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident in every interaction.
* Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff to create a warm, welcoming environment.
* Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces; respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
* Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
* Spread Smiles: Contribute to residents’ happiness and wellbeing each day.
About You
* Qualifications: SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
* Experience: Ideally, at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
* Passion: Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
* Values: Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork.
