Teaching Assistant – SEMH Support (Year 4) | Bispham | Immediate Start

Location: Bispham
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for long-term placement)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a welcoming primary school in Bispham.


About the Role:

* Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs, helping them to engage positively with learning.
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic progress.
* Support the pupil in managing behaviour and building resilience.


Ideal Candidate:

* Experience working with children with SEMH or similar needs (school-based or other relevant settings).
* Calm, patient and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
