£38,319 - £42,749 pro rata, per annum

Work Pattern:
Hybrid Working - flexible, agile, hybrid working pattern combining work from home and office, with a minimum of one day per week in the office.

About The Role
Engage with local authority planning and economic development departments to understand growth needs, inform our Community Risk Management Plan, and secure developer funding to support CFRS operations amidst growth. Collaborate with internal teams, regional fire services, and blue light partners for coordinated efforts.
About You
We welcome all backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have:
* A degree or postgraduate qualification in town planning or related field
* Membership or eligibility for membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute
* Understanding of local plans, development management, planning legislation, and policy
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to meet tight deadlines with conflicting priorities
* Experience in town planning or a related department
* Proven management of funding opportunities
* Full UK Driving Licence
