We have a great opportunity to join our Schools Data Team, working on data collection from our schools.
Our School’s Data Team is key to supporting schools in completing the Department of Education school census. The census is a statutory return conducted during the autumn, spring, and summer terms, collecting information about pupils and schools.
You will work closely with schools to ensure accurate and up-to-date data for other services.
We have 2 vacancies available:
* 1 x 37 hours fixed term for 12 months.
* 1 x 18.5 hours fixed term for 9 months.

Main Responsibilities
* Process school data and work with schools to ensure accuracy.
* Collect weekly attendance data for pupils attending Staffordshire Schools and vulnerable populations.
* Work with schools to collect and import school files.
* Run reports and update data to ensure quality.
* Produce process notes and coordinate meetings for projects.
* Manage the School Census, ensuring data is recorded correctly.
* Collect assessment data from schools.

* Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with a range of people via phone, email, and in person.
* Develop effective working relationships and provide excellent customer service.
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to meet deadlines.
* Flexible approach to work, able to prioritize and adapt to changing tasks.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* Passion for providing excellent service.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office.

The role is mainly office-based, with some home working on a rota basis depending on service needs.
