Team / Division Overview:
The Passive Portfolio Management Team manages X-trackers ETFs and mandates across Equity and Fixed Income, with a global presence in 17 locations and approximately 900 professionals.
Role Details:
As an Equity Portfolio Manager, you will:
1. Manage daily index equity portfolios, including construction and trade execution.
2. Support client flows efficiently.
3. Manage investment and risk exposures, and develop hedging strategies.
4. Optimize portfolio strategies to minimize tracking error and ensure accurate trading during corporate actions and cash flows.
5. Participate in projects to improve efficiency and automation.
6. Collaborate with trading desks for optimal execution.
7. Contribute to product development.
8. Oversee NAV, portfolio reconciliation, and performance analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
1. Strong financial product knowledge in Equities, Fixed Income, or Commodities, with exposure to ETFs or derivatives.
2. Experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Index Research, with skills in portfolio construction, performance attribution, and ETF servicing.
3. Knowledge of index methodologies from providers like FTSE, S&P, MSCI.
4. Proficiency in Python, VBA, Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Aladdin, and optimization systems.
5. Understanding of rebalance trading strategies.
6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
