The Driver Cleaners are responsible for ensuring the vehicles are collected and delivered to places of maintenance and repair and back to their Operational location according to plan in a timely manner with minimum disruption to Operations.

The Driver Cleaners are responsible for ensuring the vehicles are collected and delivered to places of maintenance and repair and back to their Operational location according to plan in a timely manner with minimum disruption to Operations.
To ensure vehicles in their location are clean and presented at the highest standards. The Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust operates a Fleet of 925 vehicles, comprising of Accident and Emergency Ambulances, Rapid Response Vehicles, Patient Care Services vehicles and specialist response vehicles.
Vehicles are maintained and repaired through a combination of in-house workshops and third party suppliers. The in-house workshops are located in South East and North Wales, the vehicles based in Central and West and parts of South East areas are maintained predominantly by third party suppliers.
All accident repair work is undertaken by approved accident and repair Centres throughout Wales.
The post holder will be required to carry out the collection and delivery of vehicles and parts to and from Ambulance stations, workshops, suppliers and other locations as required.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Knowledge
 * Literacy and Numeracy level 2
 * Full driving license with a maximum of 3 points Must have C1 Category
 * 5 GCSE C or above
 * D1 Category on driving license
Experience
 * Experience of driving a varied range of vehicles
 * Experience of cleaning vehicles or equipment
 * Previous experience of infection control/cleaning
 * Experience of managing a stock control system
 * Experience of driving light commercial vehicles.
 * History of working within the motor trade/engineering or Ambulance service.
 * Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements including Risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
 * Experience of dealing with customers in the retail Motor Trade
