Job Overview
We are seeking an Electricians Mate preferably from Huddersfield to join our team, previous experience is essential. The ideal candidate must be happy to start early morning and be flexible with days of work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics.
* Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Document all work performed and report any issues to management.
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electricians Mate.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety regulations.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Ability to read technical documents and blueprints accurately.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are preferred.
* Be flexible and willing to start early morning.
