Our 18-month Finance Development Apprenticeship is tailored for ambitious college leavers who are passionate about finance and eager to take their first steps towards becoming future finance leaders. If you're motivated to grow, learn, and start your journey with Radius, this is the ideal place to begin.



By joining our programme, you'll become part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative organisation, working alongside like-minded peers and engaging directly with our senior leadership team. Our finance team is over 200 strong, and during your time with us, you’ll collaborate with various finance functions and business units. You’ll gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects where you’ll be empowered to think independently and bring fresh ideas to the table.



Your growth and development is our priority. Following a successful 6-month probation period, you’ll have the opportunity to begin studying towards your AAT qualification, supported by practical training and one-to-one mentorship. All training and exam costs will be covered by the business, we’ll give you the time, support and encouragement to succeed with dedicated study leave and mentors who have already completed the same exams.

This programme is designed to open the door to long-term progression. On successful completion, you could move onto our Level 7 Apprenticeship—leading to a full professional accountancy qualification, continuing your journey towards a leadership role within Radius. Our Finance Development Programme is designed not only to get you your accountancy qualification but to help you grow into a well-rounded professional and a future business leader. We will support you through your qualification and professional development with annual salary reviews and a market leading salary when you qualify.

We'd be excited to welcome you to one of our five Crewe offices. The role is full-time, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.



Your responsibilities day to day will be dependent on placement and will evolve across the 18-month development programme.

The programme offers successful candidates the chance to spend time in one of our business unit Finance teams (including Fuel, Telematics, Telecoms, Insurance, Vehicle Solutions, EV and Energy) within our different functions across finance such as:

* Financial Operations – responsible for transaction data management, customer billing and direct debit processing
* Accounts Payable – responsible for supplier invoice processing and payment, supplier communication, compliance and controls and expense management.
* Cash and banking – responsible for bank reconciliations, bank account management and cashflow forecasting.
* Financial Analysis – responsible for providing revenue security, ensuring all drawings have been invoiced, balance sheet control, reconciling cost accruals to invoices.

The skills you’ll learn

By the end of the scheme, you’ll be:

* Proficient in financial accounting basics – double-entry bookkeeping, journals, accruals and prepayments
* A clear and confident communicator
* Highly organised with strong time-management skills
* Detail orientated with a high level of accuracy
* A problem solver able to analyse issues, investigate discrepancies, and implement effective solutions.

* A powerful mix of technical knowledge, professional skills and analytic mindset
* A solid skillset to take you forward in your finance career

Qualifications

* A college leaver in any related subject. Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Maths, Economics are desirable, however, we will consider all subjects
* Strong academic background
* Ambition to build a career in Finance
