Join Our Team as a Class 2 Driver in Swadlincote Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for well-paid, straightforward work with minimal handball? We are recruiting a professional Class 2 Driver in Swadlincote for an immediate start on a long-term contract.
This is a full-time Class 2 Driver role delivering building supplies, with an average of 34 deliveries per day. The work is clean and organised, with little to no handball, and is ideal for a Class 2 Driver who is confident with load securing and wants consistent day work.
Key Responsibilities Class 2 Driver Safely operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes
Deliver building supplies to customer sites (34 drops per day)
Secure loads using ratchet straps and load restraint equipment
Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork
Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time
Follow all driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
Requirements Class 2 Driver Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience required
At least 9 months recent Class 2 driving in the last year (Tacho will be checked)
Experience with ratchet strapping is essential
Strong level of English due to delivery requirements
Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
