About the Role
Our friendly team at Thorndon plays a vital role in providing engaging and excellent customer service to visitors. Working as part of a visitor centre team, the post holder should be a team player who can engage warmly and professionally with visitors in retail and food & beverage areas, ensuring top-quality customer service. Responsibilities include using the till, preparing and serving hot and cold refreshments, clearing tables, restocking retail stock, and engaging with customers.
Candidate Profile
We seek a friendly individual interested in customer service to join us in this visitor engagement role. Our profits support conservation, educational, and other key activities of the Trust.
Contract Details
This is a casual worker position with no fixed hours. Available hours are offered to casual workers, who may accept or decline. Hours are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Sunday, throughout the year, mainly during school holidays and weekends. Shifts are typically 4 hours within operating hours.
