Full‑time, permanent, 35 hours per week, Hybrid (2‑3 days per week in London office; remainder from home).

Salary and Benefits
£45,000‑60,000 depending on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus, 35 days leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays), a 6% employer pension contribution and the right to work from any location for up to 25 working days per year.

Qualifications
* At least 5‑10 years of proven success in strategic communications
* Exceptional storytelling and media relations skills with connections to UK and/or international media
* Strong political literacy and understanding of UK political actors and power dynamics
* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English
* Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
* Enthusiasm, flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities
* Experience representing organisations to high‑level individuals and clients
* Experience in line‑managing and nurturing team members
* Experience in effectively managing projects
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent
Nice to Have
* Experience designing and delivering government relations and advocacy strategies, including engaging with decision‑makers
* Experience in international development
* Experience using media monitoring tools
* Experience managing client relationships and ensuring high‑standard delivery
* Experience using AI tools ethically for advocacy, campaigns, communications and research

Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to client projects.
* Design and implement strategic communications strategies.
* Drive media relations: spot news hooks, craft stories that land, secure media coverage, produce opinion pieces, secure broadcast opportunities for key spokespeople.
* Develop and execute UK and global government relations strategies, meeting with decision‑makers.
* Ensure high‑quality writing across the organisation, including social media.
* Line‑manage team members, supporting their growth and fostering a positive, collaborative, empowering team environment.
* Oversee monitoring platform subscriptions and support colleagues who use them.
* Contribute to business development: write proposals and budgets for new projects.
* Support modelling and strengthening our culture.
* Undertake additional tasks as needed.
