We’re looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in our partner secondary schools from September. As a cover supervisor your role involves covering lessons in the teacher’s absence, keeping students on task, managing behaviour and making sure the work left is completed. You won’t be expected to plan lessons or teach new content — but you will need to be confident leading a classroom. This role is ideal for: Teaching Assistants looking to progress Graduates considering a PGCE or teacher training Sports coaches/youth workers/support workers with transferable skills Anyone wanting more classroom experience before committing to teaching What we’re looking for: Good behaviour management and communication skills Confidence leading groups of young people A calm, professional approach School experience is great, but not essential if you have relevant transferable experience Why work through SupplyBank?
