Job Duties:
The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the classroom by assisting with the preparation of learning materials, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to maintain a positive learning environment. They may also supervise students during breaks and assist with classroom management.
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards one.
Education:
A minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Additional education or training in teaching assistance is desirable.
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong communication skills, ability to work well in a team, patience, and a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. First Aid training is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
The Teaching Assistant will work in a school setting following the school term calendar. The role involves working closely with students and teachers in a classroom environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
