The role: As a Technical Services Maintenance Planner, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the smooth planning and execution of all maintenance activities across our Packaging department. Your work will directly impact the reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of our plant operations. This role requires flexibility, initiative, and a keen eye for detail. While the core responsibilities are outlined below, you may occasionally be asked to take on additional tasks aligned with your skills and capabilities, helping to support the wider brewery team and AB InBev’s mission. Duties & Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate all preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the Packaging department. Create, assign, and manage Work Orders using the Maintenance Management System (SAP), ensuring accuracy in equipment history, parts usage, and labor tracking. Develop and issue daily and weekly maintenance schedules; monitor progress and close out completed Work Orders. Liaise with FLMs, suppliers, and contractors to ensure resource availability, timely delivery of spares, and compliance with EHS and quality standards. Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis efforts through VPO tools and methods (e.g. PDCA). Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs), raise PR requests, and ensure alignment with CWC policy. Participate in production meetings and provide technical feedback on planned and completed maintenance work. Create and distribute maintenance reports to track KPIs, performance trends, and improvement areas. Contribute to cost control by optimizing maintenance spend and sourcing cost-effective solutions. Champion safety and compliance by promoting best practices, managing SLA adherence, and supporting energy and utility efficiency initiatives. Who we're looking for: Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills with a structured and systematic approach. Previous experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Solid understanding of maintenance management systems (SAP preferred), technical documentation, and spare parts management. Strong communicator who collaborates effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. Ability to challenge, influence, and drive continuous improvement. Technically qualified (HNC/HND in Engineering preferred) with good knowledge of manufacturing principles, EHS standards, and maintenance best practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis with a keen eye for process efficiency and cost optimisation. Proven ability to work independently and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented culture. Familiarity with project planning and capital project support is desirable.
