As a Pharmacy Assistant Technical Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team supporting the provision of reception and dispensing services for both in‑patient and out‑patient patients within the Pharmacy Department.
You will be responsible for leading the provision of excellent customer service, acting as a role model to other members of the dispensary team and handling enquiries in an efficient, polite and courteous manner, providing a caring and helpful service to staff, patients and the general public.
East Kent University NHS Foundation Trust (EKUFT) is recruiting an enthusiastic, motivated individual to help supply medications to service users across the Trust. Dispensing duties include dispensing in‑patient and outpatient prescriptions and assisting in the sale of pharmacy medicines.
No previous pharmacy experience is required as full in‑house training will be provided. Ideal candidates will hold an NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services; otherwise they will be expected to enrol and be supported to work towards the qualification.
We are looking for applicants who are eager to learn, able to organise and prioritise their own work to meet deadlines, and able to work using their own initiative.
