To work as a Broadcast Support Supervisor in the SIS Milton Keynes Broadcast Engineering department.
Leading a team of Broadcast Support Engineers, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the SIS Engineering Support department, ensuring they are capable of supporting SIS broadcast services in a 247/365 environment.
This role will involve occasional travel to other SIS offices (London and Manchester), as well as co located Data Centres, but is primarily a Milton Keynes based position. The role has line management responsibility for six Broadcast Support Engineers.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but will include occasional unsociable hours to cover vacant shifts and/or carry out maintenance.

Skills and Experience
* Ability to lead through example with strong Broadcast Engineering skills
* Electronic/Electrical or Broadcast Engineering background with a minimum academic standard to HNC/HND level of qualification, or equivalent
* An excellent knowledge of TV Engineering principles
* Good knowledge of video over IP protocols within a broadcast environment (SMPTE2110/NDI etc.)
* Ability and competence to evaluate technical problems using appropriate Broadcast test and measurement equipment
* Imaginative approach to problem solving
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage time and tasks
* Confident communicator with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
