The Opportunity Our client, a well-established and highly regarded distribution business based in North Belfast, is seeking a Sales Office Administrator to join their busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced office professional who enjoys a varied role combining customer service, sales order processing, logistics coordination and general administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the office and delivery operation. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner. Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare despatch documentation and customer invoices. Complete weighbridge administration duties. Liaise with production and operational teams to ensure product availability and fulfil customer requirements. Coordinate and schedule vehicle deliveries for domestic and commercial customers. Arrange third-party haulage for wholesale deliveries throughout Ireland and the UK. Process customer payments, including cash and cheque transactions. Prepare daily banking lodgements and maintain accurate financial records. Update and maintain information on internal systems. Resolve customer queries and provide a high level of customer service. Complete daily, weekly and monthly administrative tasks, reports and checklists. Support the wider team with general office administration duties as required. Essential Requirements A minimum of 2 years' experience within a busy office administration environment. Previous experience processing sales orders and coordinating deliveries or logistics. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively to deadlines. Proactive and flexible approach to work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Desirable Requirements Experience working within a distribution, logistics, transport, manufacturing or similar industry. Knowledge of accounting or order processing systems such as Sage, Perito or equivalent. Previous experience coordinating transport or delivery schedules.
