The School of Psychology has expanded rapidly, creating a vibrant research and learning culture with four research themes and several research groups. Facilities include eye‑tracking, virtual reality, brain stimulation, EEG, behavioural laboratories, fMRI and nutrition laboratories.
We are seeking a lecturer on a 0.9 FTE basis to join our dynamic team. Candidates should be qualified to Doctorate level (PhD) or in the final stages of completing a doctoral degree. They should be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.
This is a fixed‑term position until 1st September 2027, covering the maternity leave of an established staff member. It may also be considered as a secondment, subject to discussion with line managers. The role is available part‑time for 33.3 hours per week or 0.9 FTE, and is open exclusively to current Bournemouth University staff and agency staff employed at Bournemouth University.
