If you enjoy variety, autonomy and the opportunity to help build something, this role will suit you well.The RoleTaking technical responsibility for drawings, calculations, reports and design documents-both your own and those produced by othersConfident use of Civil 3D, CAD and other design/analysis tools, and supporting colleagues as they develop these skillsSolving technical challenges and delivering practical, well-considered engineering solutionsApplying current design standards and a clear understanding of CDM (2015) dutiesHelping refine internal processes to ensure consistent, high-quality project deliveryIdentifying and managing risks on your projectsSupporting and mentoring team members in their technical developmentCarrying out site visits to understand constraints and monitor construction progressLeading project delivery and coordinating with clients, stakeholders and third partiesCommunicating technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesManaging project programmes, resources and financial performancePreparing fee proposals and cost estimatesBuilding and maintaining strong, positive client relationshipsTaking responsibility for ongoing professional developmentHelping promote the business and contributing to the growth of the Manchester teamAbout YouYou'll be someone who enjoys taking the lead, building relationships and finding practical solutions.
