Konnect are working closely with a long-standing client who are currently recruiting for a Cost Manager / Junior Estimator to join their expanding Commercial team.
Our client is a well established Commercial Contractor, who operate mainly in the South East.
As part of the Commercial and Estimating Team you will have multiple responsibilities.
Quantity Surveying - Communicating with the Site Managers Capturing any variations at Contract Stage. Monitor invoice dates and liaise with accounts to ensure correct and timely invoicing to the Client. Agreeing Final Accounts and Reporting on Profit and Loss.
Estimating - Liaising with the site surveyors to produce estimates for multiple Client's, using the Client's agreed Schedule of Rates and Pricing formats.
Cost Management - Liaising with Project Managers Producing and agreeing cost plans with the Clients Project Managers and QS's.
Procurement - Obtaining prices for Specialist Trades at Tender Stage and upon award of contract ensuring that all orders are then placed in a timely manner.
