This role offers an ecologist the opportunity to deliver biodiversity net gain and nature-based solutions across Northern England, supporting innovative, sustainable consultancy projects and sector leading sustainability ambitions.
You’ll Be Responsible For
* Embed biodiversity at feasibility and design stages.
* Managing surveys, assessments and consultant commissions.
* Delivering biodiversity Metric and gain plans.
* Supporting urban greening and nature-based solutions.
* Managing stakeholder engagement and offset strategies.
* Providing technical assurance, GIS mapping and reporting.
* Supporting construction delivery, ECoW and licensing.
* Advising clients, bid delivery and mentoring.
You’ll Need To Have
* Degree-qualified ecologist with five years’ professional experience.
* Strong BNG delivery, habitat surveys and reporting capability.
* Competent in natural capital, ecosystem services and UGF delivery.
* GIS proficient, with strong technical and analytical skills.
* Professionally accredited or working towards chartership, UK driving licence.
