Job Title: Junior Operations Analyst
Location: London
Role Purpose
The Junior BAU Operations Analyst supports day‑to‑day operational processes related to regulatory reporting. This includes exception management, MI production, documentation, and UAT support. The role offers broad exposure and a strong foundation for a long‑term career in regulatory operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Support daily exception management across MiFID II, EMIR Refit, SFTR, REMIT.
* Assist with investigating breaks and documenting root causes.
* Maintain and update BAU procedures, workflows, and training materials.
* Produce MI, KPIs, and trend analysis for management.
* Support UAT execution and documentation.
* Work with Technology, Compliance, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
* Monitor regulatory updates relevant to BAU workflows.
Skills & Experience
* Basic understanding of regulatory reporting is desirable.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.
* Strong problem‑solving mindset.
Technical Skills
* Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Exposure to front‑to‑back data flows and operational controls is a plus.
