Position Overview
An enthusiastic, motivated and committed person is required by the Governing Body of Ysgol Bryn Castell to support pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties including Autism alongside other Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as a Special Support Officer within a special school environment.
Responsibilities
* Support pupils with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD) including Autism.
* Work with pupils across both primary and secondary phases.
* Protect children, young people or adults at risk.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Some experience working with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and BESD, including Autism.
* Ability to conduct a basic conversation through Welsh.
* Enhanced with Children's Barred list criminal records check by DBS.
