Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full-time, shift-based (including early mornings, evenings, and weekends)
The Role
We’re recruiting a Cleaning Manager for a major national grocery retailer, operating within a large, fast-paced facilities management contract. This is a hands-on management role – not a clipboard job. You’ll be responsible for keeping standards high, teams productive, and the site audit-ready at all times.

* Ensure all cleaning standards meet contractual, audit, and hygiene requirements
* Plan rotas, manage absences, and deploy staff efficiently
* Carry out regular inspections and quality checks
* Deal with client requests, issues, and escalations promptly
* Maintain health & safety compliance, COSHH, and site documentation
* Train, induct, and performance-manage cleaning staff
* Step in operationally when required – this is not desk-only management
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Cleaning Manager or Supervisor (FM or retail environment preferred)
* Strong people management skills – you can lead, not just delegate
* Good working knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and chemicals
* Confident dealing with clients and senior site stakeholders
* Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
* Flexible with working hours, including weekends
* Right to work in the UK
What’s On Offer
