The client is an elderly lady living in Barry who enjoys an active lifestyle, including singing and walking. She enjoys car trips with a picnic lunch and communicates primarily through speech, song, or sign language. The care approach is holistic, and the client may tire on some days, preferring quiet activities such as looking at photographs and cards collected over the years. She also enjoys art books and flower arranging and has a hearing impairment and mid-to-late stage Alzheimer\'s disease. Behavioral changes can include suspiciousness with unfamiliar people and occasional confusion about location or day. The daughter is very supportive and will be present during the initial period to help the new caregiver adapt.
