Overview
Location: Glasgow, Scotland. Part-time Facilities Assistant role at Wescot.
Hours per week: 22.5 on a 2-week rotational basis.
Week 1: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 12:30. Week 2: Monday – Friday, 12:30 – 17:00.
Responsibilities
* Undertaking Health & Safety related duties including weekly testing of the Fire Alarm and monthly water hygiene checks.
* Collating monthly energy and multifunction device meter readings.
* Maintaining water coolers, replenishing cups as required.
* Stock control, owning order requests and taking receipt of deliveries of all consumables including cleaning and stationery.
* General maintenance duties to include: Small repair jobs; Painting; Joinery; Plumbing.
* Liaising with contractors on-site to ensure UKDS standards are adhered to.
* Preparing and supporting annual PAT Testing.
* Supervising contractors on an ad hoc basis when work is to be completed out-of-hours.
* Providing visitors and clients with a professional and courteous welcome, signing them in and out of the visitors book and completing confidentiality documentation as required.
* Assisting in fob access control including: Issuing badges for new starters and visitors; taking photos of new starters and producing their photo ID card; ensuring Starter, Mover, Leaver process is adhered to updating Paxton system and relevant spreadsheets; producing monthly access reports for audit purposes.
* Carrying out DSEs as a trained Health & Safety Rep, issuing equipment and updating spreadsheets.
* Understanding and adhering to all policies, procedures and legislation that affect the business services provided by Wescot Credit Services.
* Any reasonable ad hoc responsibilities as advised by your line manager.
