Salary Details: BS 26-29 (currently £32,916 - £36,573)
Hours of Work: Full-time 37 hours per week

We’re seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our IT team in a developmental, hands-on role supporting servers, networks, virtualisation and security systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with early experience (or an apprenticeship / placement background) who wants to grow their technical skills in a supportive environment.
What you’ll do
1. Assist with day-to-day infrastructure operations (servers, storage, virtualisation and networks)
2. Monitor system health, dashboards, backups and alerts
3. Carry out routine tasks, checks and basic diagnostics
4. Resolve lower-level incidents and escalate complex issues to senior engineers
5. Support backup, patching and basic security activities
6. Maintain accurate documentation, asset and configuration records
7. Work within ITSM processes (Incident, Request and Change)
What we’re looking for
8. Practical experience in an IT infrastructure or technical support environment
9. Basic understanding of servers, operating systems, networking or storage
10. Ability to follow procedures and work methodically
11. Good communication skills and attention to detail
12. A strong desire to learn and develop in infrastructure technologies
