Stockport Homes Group is looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to lead and shape our full learning lifecycle. This pivotal role focuses on equipping colleagues with the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to thrive, while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting the delivery of high‑quality, customer‑focused services.
Position Type: Permanent | Full Time | 37 hours | Hybrid working (3 days in office)
Salary: Up to £47,422 per annum
About the Role
The L&D Manager will provide operational leadership for learning and development across the Group and work closely with the Strategic Lead for Culture & Engagement to develop learning strategies. You’ll design and deliver impactful learning solutions that align with the wider People Strategy and support organisational priorities.
Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, senior leaders and managers to understand current and future skills needs, ensuring learning interventions are tailored, effective and support workforce planning and long‑term capability building.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational leadership for learning and development across the Group.
* Work closely with the Strategic Lead for Culture & Engagement to develop learning strategies.

* Collate and assess current and future skills needs with HR Business Partners, senior leaders and managers.
