Benefits and Efficiencies Analyst - 32067
Overview
The Environment Agency is committed to an inclusive workforce. We are looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance directorate. The PMO centralises portfolios to drive change, transformation and continuous improvement. You will analyse data from PMO colleagues and project managers to set standards for benefits and value management and embed them, identify, value and validate project benefits, and support decision-making and risk management.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio.
* Help set standards for benefits and value management and embed them across teams.
* Identify, value and validate project benefits and support decision-making and risk management across change and transformation.
* Work with teams to shape and optimise project portfolios for strategic alignment and evidence-based delivery.
Experience / Skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; able to work independently and in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and promote diversity in work.

Additional Information
You’ll have an inclusive incident management objective in your development plan, and appropriate training will be provided. The role is hybrid with an EA Office base location.
