We are actively seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a well-established company in the Smethwick area to support their Customer Service Centre and handle everyday customer service enquiries.
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Qualify customer requirements and reduce customer downtime through effective questioning.
2. Receive and process requests from customers and colleagues via all incoming streams.
3. Liaise regularly with customers to provide real-time status reports on active work and matters related to Maintenance Agreements.
4. Create, manage, and process amendments to Calibration Certificates (electronic and hard copy), including UKAS, Standard, and third-party certificates.
5. Amend Maintenance Agreements (premium and non-premium), raise invoices and credit notes efficiently and timely.
Personal Specification:
* Previous customer service or sales experience with an administrative background.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in PC use, with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
* A positive, enthusiastic individual with a 'can-do' attitude.
* Confident, customer-focused, and committed to exceeding customer expectations.
