Position: Property Engineer - Whole Vehicle Design and Functional Validation

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a premium automotive manufacturer who are looking for a Property Engineer - Whole Vehicle Design and Functional Validation
Main Responsibilities
1. Responsible for deliverables to a specified timeframe, quality and cost.
2. Manage the design, construction, delivery and update of properties and models, both internally and with external suppliers
3. Work with stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet all requirements
4. Ability to demonstrate deliverables status at any time with Key Performance Indicators.
5. Manage property/model BOM and part sourcing in conjunction with Design Check engineers and part owners
6. Demonstrate a broad awareness of process and operational requirements within the area.
7. Propose process and method improvements to develop departmental capability
8. Ability to lead on technical direction working with other departments/Engineers.
9. Responsibility to ensure factual and effective communication is provided at all levels
10. Participation and effective representation of function/Company in appropriate technical meetings.
11. Responsible for the collation and presentation of relevant data in order to consult and lead functional /cross-functional meetings.
12. Transparent issue escalation to management, accountable for identifying and escalating issues and risks to management
13. Proficient with CATIA V5 and familiar with CAD PLM software (e.g. LCA or TeamCenter)
14. Project management including: development timing plans/gantt charts, tasks prioritisation and critical path and risk identification.
Qualifications
15. Engineering degree or equivalent
