About the Role:
We’re seeking a passionate, results-driven National Account Manager to oversee Biscuits, Spreads, and Better For You (BFY) categories, leading a key partnership with Sainsbury’s, one of the UK’s most iconic grocery retailers. This role offers the chance to work with beloved brands like Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella, and more.
In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate closely with the Sainsbury’s Group Business Unit Controller, building strong partnerships, driving growth, and delivering performance across Ferrero’s premium portfolio.
You will influence key decisions, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and play a vital role in shaping Ferrero’s success in the UK retail landscape.

Main Responsibilities:
As a National Account Manager – Sainsbury’s, you will manage Biscuit, Spread, and BFY categories, owning the Sainsbury’s account. You will develop and execute business plans aligned with Ferrero’s policies and Sainsbury’s priorities across in-store and online channels.
With full P&L responsibility, you will drive sales, revenue growth, and profitability. Your understanding of trade terms, margins, promotions, and budgets will enable data-driven decisions for sustained growth.
You will build relationships with senior buyers, category managers, and cross-functional teams, shaping and implementing Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to create shared value and execute strategies effectively.
You will lead promotional and visibility initiatives to enhance Ferrero’s shelf presence and consumer engagement, tracking performance and adjusting strategies in real-time.
This role involves collaboration with teams like Trade Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Demand Planning, Ecommerce, Marketing, and Net Revenue Management. You will analyze shopper behavior, market trends, and competitors to innovate and maintain Ferrero’s leadership.
Who we are looking for:
We seek a commercially savvy, results-oriented professional with proven experience managing major UK grocery accounts, ideally within FMCG and with high-profile retailers.
You should have expertise in developing Joint Business Plans (JBPs), managing full P&L, and creating retailer-specific strategies that foster growth. Your ability to link brand ambitions with commercial results is essential.
You must be credible, confident, influential, and capable of leading negotiations at all levels, both internally and with retail stakeholders. A collaborative approach and experience working across Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Brand, and Net Revenue Management are important.
You should be data-driven, with strong commercial acumen, able to translate complex data into clear insights. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required, along with impactful presentation skills.
