Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to take responsibility for building, developing, and implementing our marketing strategy across both online and traditional marketing channels, ensuring alignment with our values and vision. You will collaborate with clinical colleagues to develop engaging content for both B2B and B2C markets, developing the company's 'voice' and building presence in its markets.
This role is full-time, but approximately 80% of full-time can be considered. Hybrid working with some requirement to work periodically in Cambridge and London.
Responsibilities
* Build, develop and implement our marketing strategy to drive the business's growth goals, including planning and implementing the overall digital marketing strategy for B2B and B2C markets.
* Identify, build relationships and direct external agencies to deliver the marketing strategy and brand ambition.
* Work with our web agency and internal stakeholders, direct the strategy and development of our website with both B2B and B2C objectives.
* Lead SEO/SEM work for website development, including ongoing improvements, UX and optimisation based on analytics and business growth.
* Create the Check4Cancer content strategy and develop its distribution plan through our Website, Social, Affiliates and other third-party Media Channels - including copywriting.
* Support sales campaigns, including the development of direct and indirect communications.
* Create impactful digital marketing campaigns and support email marketing content with compelling calls to action that increase website traffic and onward conversion.
* Create, run, and optimise marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
* Undertake effective analysis of all digital marketing campaigns - reporting across all channels to optimise conversion rates and measure ROI for marketing activities, and make suggestions for improvements.
* Responsible for our use of performance marketing strategy and improving our online ranking through organic SEO and paid search activity, such as PPC & paid social (with agencies where appropriate).
* Develop creative social media strategies to grow our brand awareness.
* Lead the marketing of new service launches.
* Create presentation materials to support sales activities, such as PowerPoint presentations for awareness days, sales flyers, and event and exhibition materials.
* Generate and respond to media interest in our products and services.
* Produce surveys and reports, including engagement of research companies and report writers, designers, and printers.
* Prepare and submit awards nomination applications.
Key requirements for this role are:
* Degree in Marketing/Business or CIM (or similar) Qualification
* Experience of managing and delivering digital and traditional marketing methods and materials.
* Experience of conversion optimisation and UX optimisation
* Experience of managing external agencies effectively
* Experience of using HubSpot is desirable
* Experience of working in a healthcare office environment or similar
* Proven track record in multi-channel campaign management (offline and digital)
* Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, CRO, CMS, web design, AI tools, PPC, video, etc
* Experience of using analytics, including Google Analytics, Power BI, etc
* Understanding of marketing and sales funnel, with the ability to show marketing ROI
* Project and budget management
