Role Overview
Our client offers a superb opportunity for a Business Development Manager with a background in Industrial Automation to oversee sales and growth of the Device & Field Connectivity product range. The successful candidate will focus on achieving design-ins and specifications within the client’s product portfolio, acting as a key driver of new business. You will work alongside automation and connectivity experts to deliver tailored system solutions to high-value clients, engaging face-to-face with clients and supported by a knowledgeable technical team. This role aims to generate significant value in key industrial markets.
Candidate Profile
Applications are invited from candidates with proven sales success in electronic connectors, components, and field wiring markets. The ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND or Degree in a relevant subject, with strong technical and commercial skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience influencing decision-makers. Knowledge of markets such as contract electronic manufacturing, device manufacturing, and electronic component distribution is essential. The role involves managing the national sales target for this product line, driving profitable growth through direct sales and collaboration with marketing and specification teams. The position is home-based with good access to major roads, involving national travel. It is a senior-level role reporting to top management.

1. Successful sales experience in electronic components, connectors, or device manufacturing industries.
2. Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent technical qualification.
