We are seeking a pro-active, self-motivated and enthusiastic person for the role of Recruitment Events and Outreach Assistant. The successful candidate will support the planning and delivery of various on campus and virtual recruitment events, including University Open Days, Experience Days, Taster Days, postgraduate events, campus visits, and bespoke events for stakeholders such as schools, colleges, and external partners, to promote the University of Bradford and meet recruitment targets.
What You Will Be Doing
1. The Recruitment Events and Outreach Assistant will support the planning and delivery of recruitment events, including managing logistics and stakeholder engagement.
2. Under the guidance of the Recruitment Events Coordinator, manage the organisation of the Higher Education school experience programme, including booking ambassadors, attending events, supervising, and acting as the main contact.
3. Support the setup and delivery of Outreach webinars and social media activities.
4. Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing agendas, meeting minutes, stationery orders, laundry, travel bookings, and responding to enquiries.
5. Develop content for recruitment presentations, printed, and online marketing materials targeting prospective students, parents, carers, teachers, and advisors, in collaboration with marketing colleagues.
6. Be available to work on campus for key events, supporting the hybrid working model.
Qualifications/Experience
1. A good standard of education, including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
2. Customer service experience face-to-face, via telephone, and email in a professional manner.
3. Excellent communication skills, tailored to different audiences.
4. Experience supporting event delivery for diverse audiences.
5. Experience supervising temporary staff and/or student ambassadors.
6. Ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively.
7. High accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Experience using CRM systems/databases for data management.
