We are seeking a passionate and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our nursery setting, working with Flying Start children aged 2–3 years and Wraparound children aged 3–4 years. The successful candidate will support high-quality early years provision, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes each child's learning and development.
Welsh language skills are preferred; however, full support and training will be provided. Knowledge of Flying Start is desirable, though training will also be given.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of high-quality early years development
* Work with children aged 2–4 years within both Flying Start and Wraparound provision.
* Assist with planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
* Carry out regular observations and assessments of children's progress.
* Contribute to children's individual development records and next steps planning.
* Provide a warm, caring and inclusive environment that supports all children's needs.
* Assist with snack preparation and promote healthy eating habits.
* Support positive behaviour management strategies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers and external professionals.
* Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
* Support transitions within the school-based setting.
