Are you an Maths Teacher committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people? As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to join our fantastic team at Norton College in Worcester.
To provide a high-quality education service for our students in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and practices, and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. To work with the Head Teacher, leadership team, and other stakeholders to secure high standards throughout the school.
KEY TASK AREAS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Devising schemes of work and creating innovative learning modules
2. Leading the teaching of PSHE and RSE Curriculum across key stages
3. Managing staff within the PSHE department
4. Planning, delivering, and teaching individual students or small groups, in accordance with the School’s Curriculum framework and related policies
5. Monitoring, recording, and reporting on student progress
6. Contributing to and helping implement developments related to the School Development Plan
7. Promoting, in line with Company policies, the physical, educational, and moral development of the students
8. Developing and implementing an environment and learning programme for individual students to ensure progression at an appropriate rate
9. Coordinating the teaching, development, assessment, recording, and reporting of subjects and learning areas across key stages as agreed with the Head Teacher
Qualifications: QTS, Education Degree or equivalent experience
Experience working with SEN and SEMH students
Understanding of trauma-informed approaches
