The Brand and Events Assistant role will support the delivery of Richmond Fellowship Queensland's (RFQ's) communication, marketing and events activities to enhance engagement, brand consistency and community presence. This role will contribute to a values-led culture by producing clear, consistent content, assisting with event coordination and managing team administration.
Your week will include:
* Assisting in developing and executing strategies and campaigns, ensuring content aligns with organisational messaging and maintains a consistent tone across digital and print channels.
* Collaborating on the planning and delivery of organisational events and support RFQ’s presence in community and industry activities.
* Providing direct support to the General Manager on initiatives that enhance brand presence and drive strategic business growth, including campaign execution and stakeholder collaboration.
* Overseeing key administrative functions such as managing inboxes, inventory, filing, request processing, and updating content across various platforms.
* Fostering a values-driven culture focused on lived experience, mutual respect, and personal growth, while actively contributing to continuous improvement through feedback and collaboration.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A sound understanding of social media marketing, with demonstrated experience in creating and curating relevant content, and a desire to continue learning in this area.
* Confidence in using tools such as Microsoft Office, social media schedulers, Google Analytics, Wordpress, Facebook Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva—or have the ability to learn quickly.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and strong administrative and time management abilities.
* Proven ability to support special projects and events, while contributing to ongoing improvements across communications, marketing, and event functions.
