Toolroom Machinist - Automotive Manufacturing

Employment: Full-Time | Permanent | Training Provided
What You'll Do
* Operate and maintain manual and CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines.
* Set and run EDM wire erosion machines (full training provided if needed).
* Work from detailed engineering drawings and job cards.
* Machine components to precise specifications and high-quality standards.
* Support toolroom repairs, die maintenance, and fixture preparation.
* Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and safe to use.
* Collaborate with engineers, toolmakers, and production staff to meet deadlines.
* Contribute to continuous improvement (Kaizen) and 5S activities.
* Follow all company safety and quality procedures (IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001).
About You
You'll have a strong background in machining or precision manufacturing, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of a close-knit team.
Essential Skills
* Experience operating milling, turning, or grinding machinery.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
* Team player with good communication skills.
* Flexible and proactive, able to adapt to changing priorities.
Desirable (Training Provided)
* Experience with EDM wire erosion.
* Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.
* Familiarity with MRP systems and manufacturing processes.
* Previous experience in a toolroom or automotive environment.
