LiveWest is looking for a dynamic and compassionate Team Manager to lead our supported accommodation service in West Cornwall. As a Team Manager, you will be at the heart of a service that empowers young people to overcome homelessness and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspiring and leading a dedicated team to deliver high‑quality, trauma‑informed support.
* Driving performance and outcomes, ensuring targets and standards are met with care and consistency.
* Supporting staff resilience, helping practitioners stay solution‑focused and persistent in the face of challenges.
* Building strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and partner agencies to create a network of support.
* Overseeing service delivery, from risk assessments to multi‑agency meetings and group activities.
About the Candidate
* Ability to provide a high‑quality level of supervision to support the team.
* Management oversight for the young people open to your team.
* Good leadership skills and a proven track record for delivering good outcomes for children and young people.
* Ability to make good quality judgements and sound decisions in situations of increasing complexity, risk, uncertainty and challenge.
* Evidence of knowledge of child in need, child protection and safeguarding.
* Ability to build sound, productive working relationships with young people, colleagues and partners.
* Ability to maintain records and write high quality written reports suitable for a variety of professional settings.
* Innovative and creative in your ways of working.
* Resilient and flexible in dealing with others.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
This role is a full‑time, permanent position, working 37 hours per week with a flexible approach to hours. Bandwidth hours are 8 am to 10 pm. The role primarily involves on‑scheme work Monday to Friday with shifts.
Your appointment to this role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
