About Our Client
Our client is a well-established international supplier of high-quality amenities and operational essentials to the hospitality sector. With a strong reputation for service, a dynamic commercial environment, and a growing UK presence, they are now seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their supply chain team at their office.
Job Description
This is a hands-on, varied role covering the full life cycle of import and export operations-from order entry through to clearance and final delivery. You'll be the key logistics contact within a collaborative and commercially-driven team.
Key responsibilities:
*
Manage import and export processes for sea and air freight shipments, liaising directly with freight forwarders
*
Prepare and review all relevant shipping documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
*
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and customs compliance
*
Support customs clearance activities and troubleshoot any logistical delays
*
Maintain accurate records and ensure end-to-end visibility of all shipments
*
Contribute to continuous improvement of logistics operations and service levels
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with:
*
Previous experience in import/export logistics (air and sea), ideally from a commercial or supply chain background rather than freight forwarding
*
Familiarity with international shipping processes, documentation, and customs regulations
*
Confidence working cross-functionally and managing multiple shipments simultaneously
*
The ability to take ownership from order entry to delivery
*
A full UK driving licence or reliable access to the office (due to limited public transport)
What's on Offer
On offer for the Logistics Coordinator candidate is the following
*
Salary up to £35,000
*
Hybrid working: 2-3 days in the office (more during training or when required)
*
Annual bonus of up to 10% of salary
*
Life insurance after 1 year's service
*
Pension scheme (4% employer contribution, 4% employee, after 3 months)
*
31 day's holiday (23 days + 8 bank holidays), rising with service to 25 days
*
Option to buy up to 5 additional days annually
*
6-month probation period
*
Supportive and collaborative team culture within a growing business
