They are looking for a Finance Change Business Analyst to join the team on an initial 6 month with the potential to extend. You will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, hybrid working being office based 2 days a week.
The Team
Within Finance Platform, they have 10 Labs servicing their Finance colleagues, business colleagues, regulators, and other statutory bodies where together they strive to create better data, reporting and user experiences on their core and strategic architecture.
The Balance Sheet Management and Regulatory Reporting Lab is well established and has ownership of the data and technology that underpins the organisations ability to manage the balance sheet and effectively report to the regulator. Their purpose is to deliver the regulatory and transformational capability uplift across various products including Capital Management, Liquidity Risk Management, Asset Encumbrance, Regulatory Reporting, Funds transfer Pricing and Interest Rate Banking Book Risk. They keep their broad range of customers at the heart of everything they do. This role will get to see the finance side of changes that directly impact their external customers.
The Role
You will be responsible for understanding and optimising the end-to-end customer experience (internal and external) to ensure the needs of the customer remain at the forefront of all journeys. This role will have a particular focus on inbound change from the wider organisation and it's impact on BSM&RR applications.
The Key responsibilities for this role:
* Support change initiatives across Finance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* Support assessment of inbound change requests from other areas, looking at the impact on applications and testing changes to reduce the risk of implementation.
* Collaborate with the business, and product platforms to define and deliver the product backlog.
* Provide support during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure changes are tested and implemented effectively and in line with business expectations.
* Work in an agile manner to deliver results efficiently and effectively, demonstrating iterative and collaborative approaches.
Skills and Experience:
* Experience in change and transformation projects in a financial setting.
* Strong Problem Solver - Takes action to implement the best solution, setting up and leading a team as required, and planning and directing activities from start to finish to put the solution in place. Communicates plan with all collaborators.
* Good Stakeholder Management - Develops and improves collaborator relationships to build consensus and improve delivery of change outcomes. Uses experience to handle conflicting priorities by facilitating discussion and resolution, persuading collaborators to consider alternative views.
* You're Customer Centricity - Promotes value of customer outcomes with team and peers and ensures work efforts achieve these. Anticipates customers' needs and uses customer input and steer to present targeted, coordinated, and outcome-focused solutions and opportunities.
* And you'll influence positively - demonstrating the right values and behaviours and encouraging this in team members.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office, Jira and Jira align, SQL and advantage.
* Treasury experience is an advantage.
