Somerfield Te Kura Wairepo is seeking New Zealand registered, expert practitioners to join our team for the 2026 school year. Year level is negotiable. There are multiple positions available.

We are looking for kaiako | teachers who are:
* Structured, consistent and compassionate with tamariki and whānau from all walks of life
* Professionally curious and committed to high quality teaching and learning.
* Committed to Te Reo and Tikanga Māori and demonstrates strong culturally responsive practice in all aspects of their teaching and learning.
* Eager to participate in the wider life of the school and contribute to our vibrant community.
* Relationship-focused and willing to adopt Teaching to the North East and New Pedagogies for Deep Learning principles.
* Able to bring their own interests and skills to enrich the learning experience for our students.
