The Role
As a Retail Sales Consultant, youll play a key role in delivering a high-quality showroom experience. Youll engage with customers, understand their needs, and guide them through product selections to support their projectswhether for home renovations or trade purchases.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome customers and provide a friendly, professional showroom experience
* Understand customer needs and offer tailored product recommendations
* Inspire customers with ideas for tiling projects and interior design
* Process sales accurately and efficiently, including handling payments
* Maintain strong product knowledge, including new and evolving ranges
* Merchandise and display products to maximise sales opportunities
* Assist with stock deliveries, storage, and inventory management
* Maintain a clean, organised, and visually appealing showroom
* Support customers with loading purchases where required
* Follow company procedures relating to sales, security, and health & safety
About You
* Proven sales and customer service skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* A natural ability to build rapport and understand customer needs
* Interest or flair in interior design, colour, and styling
* Confident in suggesting ideas and presenting solutions
* Numerate, with the ability to calculate areas and measurements
* IT literate and comfortable with sales systems
* A team player who can also work independently
* Reliable, proactive, and well-organised
* Willing to work weekends on a rota basis (5 days out of 7)
* Physically able to lift and move tile boxes
