Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 6)

Role Overview of the Senior Theatre Nurse:
The hospital covers various surgical procedures. As a Theatre Practitioner/Nurse, you will support in assessing patients’ health and well-being across a complex caseload, assisting in delivering care tailored to patient needs.
Responsibilities:
* Caring for patients undergoing procedures
* Providing exemplary planned care during the perioperative stage
* Assisting in managing and organizing care within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
* Acting as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across various clinical specialties
Requirements for the Theatre Nurse:
* HCPC/ODP or NMC registered Nurse
* Minimum 2 years of Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
* Flexibility to work across different specialties on rotation
