Theatre Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse (Band 6)

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time – 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday – Friday – No Nights

Role Overview of the Theatre Nurse:
The hospital covers a wide range of surgical procedures. As a Theatre Practitioner/Nurse, you will support in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in delivering care tailored to patient needs.
Responsibilities:
* Caring for patients undergoing procedures
* Providing exemplary planned care during the perioperative stage
* Assisting in managing and organizing care within the Scrub/Recovery team in the operating department
* Acting as either Scrub or Recovery Practitioner across various clinical specialties
Requirements for the Theatre Nurse:
* HCPC/ODP or NMC registered Nurse
* At least 2 years of Orthopaedics Scrubbing experience
* Flexibility to work on rotation across different specialties
