The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an Oncology/ SACT Senior Staff Nurse at our stand‑alone oncology unit at Springfield Hospital. The role is part time, 19 hours per week. The successful applicant will be an experienced nurse and must demonstrate motivation and forward thinking for the continued success of the department.
Responsibilities
* Provide oncology nursing care within the stand‑alone oncology unit.
* Lead and support a nursing team, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
* Work independently to deliver high‑quality care and participate in departmental improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* NMC Registered Nurse.
* Post Registration Qualifications/Course in Chemotherapy Administration.
* Proven ability to lead a team and work independently as required.
* Experience in organising oncology care.
