Looking for a role where you’ll work with big-name brands, manage exciting campaigns, and really make your mark? We’re Hughes – a family-run business since 1921. We’ve always moved with the times, but we’ve never lost sight of what matters most: people. Now we’re looking for a Trade Marketing Executive to join our team and help us bring supplier campaigns to life across all our channels – online and in-store. This role is all about building strong relationships with our suppliers and working closely with our internal teams to deliver campaigns that work for everyone – our suppliers, our business, and most importantly, our customers. One day you could be shaping a brand’s presence on our website, the next you might be planning a paid social campaign or reviewing the results of a promotion. If you’re a confident communicator who’s as comfortable with data as you are with people, this could be a perfect fit. Ideal for an experienced agency Account Manager looking to make a move-in-house. What does the role include? Working with our suppliers to create and run campaigns across paid social, PPC, email, website, affiliates, and in-store. Managing brand pages and supplier visibility on the Hughes website. Building longer-term marketing plans with suppliers – not just one-off promotions. Reporting on campaigns: what ran, how it performed, and what we can learn. Using tools like GA4, Canva and Monday.com to plan, execute, and review campaigns. Working hand-in-hand with our agencies and our ecommerce, CRM, ecommerce, and buying teams to make sure campaigns deliver for everyone. What Skills and Experience are required? At least 2 years’ marketing experience, ideally in retail, ecommerce, or trade marketing. A great communicator who enjoys building relationships with lots of different people. Comfortable working with data and analytics (GA4 experience is a plus). Organised and able to manage multiple projects at once. Familiar with tools like Canva and Monday.com (or keen to learn). Someone who enjoys mixing creativity with commercial thinking.
