SHE Co‑ordinator Minffordd, North Wales £32,500 Full-time | Permanent The Opportunity We’re looking for a proactive and engaged SHE Co‑ordinator to support Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability performance across a busy facility in North Wales, with additional support provided to other sites when required. Working closely with the SHE Manager, you will help develop, implement and maintain safe working practices and compliance frameworks aligned with HSG65 and ISO 14001. You’ll play a key role in strengthening the site’s safety culture, driving continuous improvement, and supporting colleagues across all functions. Responsibilities: Support the development of SHE policies, management systems and risk‑reduction initiatives Assist with task‑based risk assessments and safe systems of work Support accident, incident and near‑miss investigations Monitor statutory inspections and ensure compliance Carry out scheduled and unannounced workplace inspections and audits Support occupational health monitoring, with opportunities to train in medical screening Co‑ordinate First Aiders, Fire Wardens and SHE Representatives Monitor accident, hazard and near‑miss reporting and help drive improvements Support sustainability reporting, including utilities, energy use and waste reduction Assist during regulatory visits and external audits Identify training needs and support sourcing and scheduling of courses Support SHE Committee and SIC meetings, including reporting and action tracking Promote positive behaviours and best practice across the site Candidate Requirements: IOSH Managing Safely (essential) NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (desirable) Interest or awareness of occupational health and medical screening (desirable) Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse workload Confident communicating with colleagues at all levels across the business Awareness of personal competence and a desire to continue developing professionally IOSH membership (desirable) Why Join This Organisation?
