Job
Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Coordinator to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team with day-to-day sales administration and customer service duties. Your main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the full handover of leads to quotes and won quotes to order progression with our operations team.
Assisting the sales team with obtaining vendor quotes, checking orders, researching leads for sales staff, and scheduling appointments.
Keeping our CRM (
Halo
) up-to-date, ensuring all opportunities are logged and up-to-date.
Co-ordinating and improving the Sales Process, including delivery, working closely with finance and procurement and our operations team.
Driving marketing incentives, promoting new products/services to prospects, and producing monthly reporting on Sales function to the executive management team.
Building strong client relationships through regular communication and following up on marketing qualified leads. Appointment setting for field sales engineers.
Sourcing hardware
/software/infrastructure quotes
with the aid of our technical team, liaising with our distributors and manufacturers to obtain quotes, ensuring a best prices policy.
Ensuring timely delivery and follow-up process on all quotes and business proposals.
Promoting a Sales mentality in the business, advocating up and cross selling
Joining & Assisting on Project kick off meetings
Experience
and Skills
:
To be successful in the role, you should have:
Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Previous experience working in a team-driven environment but able to work independently with minimum supervision
Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
Competency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
The ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
Excellent organisational skills and accurate data entry
