Spa Medical Centre is looking to recruit flexible,enthusiastic, caring and motivated Care Navigators to join our Team.
The successful candidate will have previous customer facingexperience and will have excellent organisational and communication skills aswell as a high level of competency using Microsoft Office products andcomputers. They will have the ability to liaise with staff at all levels andwork effectively as part of a team. A strong commitment to personal andprofessional development and teamwork are essential for this role.
It is a permanent role. Full induction and training isgiven. We offer a generous NHS pension scheme, staff uniform, five weeks annualleave plus bank holidays.
Working: 20-25 hrs a week, shifts between the hoursof 07:45 20:00
Starting Salary £12.25/hr Pay Increased after successful probation.

As the First point of contact, welcome peopleand service users to the Practice.
Signpost patients, carers and visitors to themost appropriate service, appointment or team.
Ensure telephone calls are answered in a timelyand professional manner.
Work alongside the GP in handling on-lineconsultation platform (e-Consult).
Arrive, make, amend or cancel appointments(facetoface).
Read, action and maintain the Patient ContactList system in accordance with the Practices policy and process.
Assist patients with the new registrationprocess.
Share information regarding the complaintsprocedure.
Ensure patient confidentiality, respect, anddignity is adhered to at all times.
Pass on patient requests to the most appropriatedepartment or team member.
Act with professionalism and ensuring thatethical conduct is adhered to at all times.

Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Strong organizational skills with attention todetail
Experience in data entry and clerical tasks
Ability to multitask and prioritize taskseffectively
Previous administrative experience is a plus

Person Specification
Qualifications
* English and Maths grade C or above (or equivalent)
* 1+ years experience in a customer focused role
* Telephone call handling
* Working within a team
* Working independently
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows
* Skills - the ability to communicate and listen effectively
* IT - such as CLAIT, ECDL
* Experience in working in General Practice or Primary Care
